Lexi believes therapy should be a space where the therapist can sit with you, meet you exactly where you are, and walk beside you during all of life’s difficulties. She believes clients should be able to walk into the therapy office without fear of judgment and feel safe discussing whatever is on their mind. Lexi strives to meet each client with acceptance, empathy, genuineness, and compassion, creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they navigate their individual experiences and goals.
Lexi earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton, following her undergraduate studies in Psychology at Kent State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, with a particular enjoyment of working with children.
Lexi believes every person displays their own strengths, has their own goals with different paths to meeting them and thinks and feels so differently. Her approach is individualized and she takes a holistic approach to working with each client. It is important to her to approach each person within the system that they are a part of and take that into consideration as they enter the therapeutic space.
Lexi’s approach is person-centered, rooted in empathy, compassion, and collaboration. She believes therapy is not about changing who someone is, but helping clients better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and feel empowered to grow. Whether working with a child, adolescent, or adult, Lexi is committed to fostering a trusting and respectful environment where clients feel supported, encouraged, and hopeful throughout their journey.
