Meet Our Clinical Supervisors

Clinical supervision in mental health is a structured process in which a more experienced mental health professional, known as the supervisor, provides guidance, support, and oversight to practitioners who are not yet independently licensed.  The primary goal of clinical supervision is to enhance the quality of care provided to clients while also promoting the professional development and competence of the supervisee.

Clinical supervision is required by the licensing boards in Ohio for providers who are not independently licensed.  Every provider at Capital Private Psychological Services receives supervision regardless of their licensure status.  We believe providers should never stop seeking feedback and should always be challenged to grow in their professional skills. Overall, clinical supervision is an essential component of mental health practice, contributing to the quality of care provided to clients and supporting the growth and effectiveness of mental health professionals.
