Catherine believes therapy should feel like walking beside someone who truly sees you. She is passionate about creating a safe, grounded space where clients feel supported in understanding themselves, healing from past experiences, and building more fulfilling lives. Catherine values authenticity and trust, meeting each client with genuine care and curiosity for their story.
Catherine earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capital University following her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has experience working in community based mental health supporting children, parents, and families through life’s hardest seasons.
Her approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, rooted in the belief that healing grows through connection and understanding. Catherine also integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Adlerian, and various attachment-based modalities.
Prior to her career in mental health, Catherine served in the United States Air Force. This experience gave her a deep appreciation for cultural diversity, resilience, and the power of human connection, all of which influenced her work as a therapist. She is committed to walking with her clients through each stage of growth, helping them build confidence, peace, and self-understanding along the way.
