"Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” - Brené Brown
Brenna LaBreck, MA, LPC is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with resilience, clarity, and support. She brings a broad clinical background working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and older adults across a variety of mental health and behavioral settings.
Brenna has extensive experience in family therapy, PTSD and trauma recovery, and crisis management. She has worked closely with adolescents and adults facing legal and behavioral concerns, helping clients build healthier coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and create meaningful change in their lives. Her clinical approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and meeting each client where they are in their personal journey.
Drawing from a family systems perspective, Brenna recognizes that relationships, communication patterns, and family dynamics often play a significant role in emotional well-being. She works with clients to better understand these patterns, strengthen healthy connections, and foster more effective ways of relating within families and support systems.
In addition to her behavioral health experience, Brenna has supported individuals with special needs and older adults living with physical disabilities. She understands the unique emotional, relational, and practical challenges that can accompany major life transitions, chronic health concerns, and caregiving dynamics.
Brenna strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. She believes therapy is a collaborative process that fosters growth, healing, and lasting personal development. Whether someone is working through trauma, navigating family conflict, or coping with life stressors, Brenna is committed to providing thoughtful and individualized care tailored to each client’s needs.
Brenna operates from a person-centered and strength-based approach, focusing on trauma-informed care and helping individuals and families understand how past experiences affect their current functioning.
