Porsha Lockett, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner credentialed across the lifespan by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She provides both in-person and telehealth services, offering comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and medication management for adolescents, adults, and older adults. Porsha works collaboratively with therapists and clients to deliver compassionate, evidence-based, and holistic mental health care.

Nursing is Porsha’s second career, following a strong foundation in scientific research. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Biology from Kent State University before obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her diverse nursing experience includes roles as a Cardiac Stepdown Nurse, ICU Nurse, Travel Nurse, and Trauma Nurse at a Level I Trauma Center. She later completed her Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Cincinnati.

Beyond her clinical practice, Porsha is an active member of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated, a professional nursing organization, and proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Franklin County.

Porsha’s passion for mental health care is deeply personal. After losing her cousin to mental illness at the age of 36, she committed herself to ensuring that no one faces their mental health struggles alone. Her mission is to provide accessible, compassionate, and high-quality psychiatric care to all who seek healing, support, and hope. Porsha strives to create a safe, welcoming space where every client feels seen, heard, and cared for.
