Julia is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Julia holds a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies in the Couple and Family Therapy program from The Ohio State University, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from The Ohio State University. Julia was an athlete at The Ohio State University and is passionate about working with athletes and their families through various difficulties such as transitions through sport, injury, grief, loss, sports performance, and the impact on their mental, relational, and social health.

Julia has experience at Nationwide Children's Hospital, providing in-home treatment and working in the community for their HomeBase and IFAST team for patients and their families. Additionally, Julia has worked with individuals, couples, and families at The Ohio State Couple and Family Therapy Clinic.

Julia's counseling styles include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Couple Therapy (CBCT), the Gottman Method, Structural Family Therapy, and Integrated Family Systems Treatment (IFAST).
