Annie is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who is highly goal oriented, resourceful, and dedicated to exceeding expectations in clinical practice. Annie holds a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies in the Couple and Family Therapy Program from Ohio State University, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in English from UCLA. Annie enjoys guiding patients in identity development, building healthy self-esteem, cultivating meaningful relationships, and navigating complex transitions, including grief and loss. Annie utilizes her systemic training to channel her passion for treating couple and family systems related challenges. 

 

Annie’s experience includes working as a primary care therapist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital providing outpatient treatment to patients (ages 0-22) and their families. Additionally, Annie has worked with individuals, couples and families at The Ohio State University Couple and Family Therapy Clinic, as well as The Schoenbaum Family Center. Prior to graduate school, Annie also worked as a CDCA at Alvis serving patients recently released from incarceration and supported these clients through counseling as they reintegrated back into the community. 

 

Annie’s counseling style incorporates modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy. Annie’s main objective is to guide clients in feeling understood along their journey of healing and self-discovery. Annie hopes to empower clients in their pursuit of mindfulness, healthy relationships, and whole-hearted living.
